Xavier & The Thrill Fills The Windy City Streets With A Drifting “Fog Parade” (Audio)

About four months since the release of his eclectic debut, Thrill, which featured fellow Chicago area artists YP, Saba, Shepard Hues, and Cleveland Cavalier Iman Shumpert, Xavier & The Thrill is back with all new material for a forthcoming, yet to be named project.

“Fog Parade” floats on a quaintly drifting, piano driven instrumental that’s emotive of feeling alone in a crowded room, but Xavier (formerly XVRHLDY) fills the void and shifts the mood by turning sour grapes into wine and ashes into confetti. The juxtaposing effect of the cut sheds light onto Xavier’s triumphs over adversity, providing audible insight into why Xavier & The Thrill is yet another Windy City artist to keep a keen eye on into the new year.

Take a listen to the beta version of “Fog Parade” below and check out visuals for Xavier & The Thrill’s latest music video, “Vanity Fair,” from the aforementioned, Thrill.
