A Portland, OR native now living in the sunshine soaked city of Los Angeles, CA, producer Cee Goods has been up and down the West Coast in pursuit of a career in music. For Goods’ latest full length release, Good Vibes, the artist and entrepreneur sticks close to home, and no track is more representative of this than his summery single, “Is This Love.”
Cee Goods’ flips Tyrese’s (or most likely Anita Baker’s version of) “Lately,” lacing together a comforting, warm jam that’s as sweet as it is soulful with a host of the West side’s finest, including Washington’s own King Leez and PDX born Mikey Vegaz and Tope. The trio of Left Coast MCs focus introspective, often braggadocious bars about their grinding, money motivated moves in the game with Cee Goods’ serenading “vibes” as their backdrop.
