Chance The Rapper To Honor Muhammad Ali At The 2016 ESPYs (News)

Last night, Chance The Rapper took to Twitter with a special, special announcement. No, we aren’t getting a surprise mixtape, especially so soon after he won over the rest of America with his critically acclaimed project, Coloring Book. Instead, Chance let us in on his forthcoming appearance on the ESPN’s The ESPYs, and a peek into why he’s there in the first place.

Airing tonight at 8 PM ET, fans will watch as the biggest in Hollywood, music, and the world of sports hand out awards for the nation’s best and most inspirational athletes. One of the biggest topics of conversation will be directed towards honoring, arguably, the greatest boxer of all time, the late Muhammad Ali, who passed away June 3 of this year. With no word on how exactly the ceremony will go, we do know that Chance The Rapper, and possibly more artists, will play a role in tonight’s special tribute to one of the most socially conscious and socially active athletes of all time.

Stay tuned to ABC tonight (July 13, 2016) at 8 PM ET to catch all of the action and watch a tribute video to Ali via ESPN below.
