After working all hours of the day in preparation for his recently released EP, Seven Days & Seven Nights, Yung Doejah is back to dropping that real hustler’s music with some Oakland rooted, Bay Area flavor.
Layered with some soulfully lighthearted instrumentals from Seven Days & Seven Nights producer Stan Lane, (whose credits on the boards also include Lil’ Dicky, Michael Christmas, Snoop Dogg, and Lil’ B) “Be That Human” is dedicated to the heart and soul of the streets, with visions of grandeur and a bigger check to represent their grind in becoming the best MC to the fullest. But while everyone else is hating on their efforts, Doejah and Gully are trafficking the art of the hustle like their pushing weight, giving new life to those who are similarly slammed underneath the thumb of the struggle.
Take a listen.
