Chance The Rapper & Saba Perform “Angels” On Colbert’s Late Show (Video)

It’s official. Stephen Colbert’s Late Show is what to watch for when looking for some dope rappers, whether they are up and coming or mainstays. From Kendrick Lamar, to Run The Jewels, and Raury, Colbert is certainly on his game. For his most recent show, Mr. Colbert introduced Chance The Rapper to his fans and live studio audience along with a never before heard track and the help from another talented, young Chicago bred MC, Saba.

“Angels” is a spiritedly upbeat cut brought to life by Saba’s inspirational hook, the church-like background instrumentals of Donnie Trumpet and The Social Experiment, and Stephen Colbert’s precisely crowned halo headgear. Let’s not forget Chance, who is also in good form as he energetically dances in partially choreographed motions and jumps around the stage while spitting about the angels that have made their way to Earth to protect him, from his family to his day one’s.
